As a pioneer of the private tourism industry, Dončo Tanevski built in 1984 the first private hotel in former Yugoslavia. Since then, this respectable hotel has been upgraded and improved several times and completely renovated and categorized with four stars in 2004. Today it is a luxurious and comfortable city hotel, arranged and equipped to fulfill the most refined expectations.
It disposes with 30 double-bed, 9 single rooms and 10 apartments. The most up to date technology is installed everywhere, it has central heating and cooling, free internet, cable TV, mini bar and many other things that could come in handy (hair dryer for example). The restaurant and open pool with a summer terrace are for hotel guests only, which provides privacy and full relaxation. Besides being an ideal place for vacation, the hotel also has a conference room and business club for organizing seminars and trainings for about 50 people.
Some of the rooms have a view of the ancient Samuil’s Fortress and the hotel is in the vicinity of the old part of Ohrid, where one can see most of the cultural attractions of this beautiful city. Most of the old churches and ancient sites are there, as well as mosaics, basilicas, museums.
